“It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.”

About me

My name is Isaac Wong, I am currently a university student who is always passionate about medical and community services. Community service has always been more than a responsibility, it is a lifelong commitment to making a meaningful difference. Beginning my volunteer journey at the age of six, I have dedicated over 9000 hours to serving others, focusing on youth development, leadership, and community impact.

Through my involvement with Scouts Canada and St. John Ambulance, I have gained extensive experience in youth mentorship, health and safety, and event leadership. As a recipient of the Medal of the Maple, a nationally recognized Scouting award for exceptional service and leadership, I have had the privilege of guiding youth through weekly programs and large-scale camps that build confidence, teamwork, and outdoor skills. My role as Health Care Centre Assistant at a national camp with over 3,000 participants involved providing first aid and health support to more than 1,000 youth and leaders, reinforcing my commitment to public well-being.

My dedication to community safety extends to my service with St. John Ambulance, where I serve as a Sergeant and Advanced Medical First Responder. I have volunteered more than 1,500 hours ensuring public safety at major events, including Rogers Arena and UBC Thunderbird Arena, while also instructing youth in first aid and leadership. These experiences have strengthened my belief in empowering others through education, preparedness, and compassion.

In every role, I strive to foster the growth of future leaders who are committed to serving their communities with integrity and empathy. I believe that meaningful leadership begins with service, and I remain dedicated to creating opportunities that inspire others to contribute to a safer, stronger, and more connected community.
